Ras Al-Khair Special Economic Zone is one of five new SEZs within the kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

To accelerate diversification of its economy and to evolve the Kingdom into a global hub for logistics and future oriented industries, Saudi Arabia has launched its first five Special Economic Zones with specific commercial regulations. Each SEZ is designed to serve a specific industry sector and will not compete with other SEZs. 

 

Ras Al-Khair Special Economic Zone’s goal is to provide investors in the maritime industries and offshore cluster, game-changing opportunities for accelerated growth while unlocking new access to global markets. 

Ras Al-Khair Special Economic Zone is part of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 program – a comprehensive set of ambitious initiatives and economic reforms to attract quality FDI and put the Kingdom at the centre of global value chains of the future.

Managed by the
Royal Commission.

Ras Al-Khair SEZ is managed by the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu. Established since 1975, its key objective is to develop, promote and manage industrial cities to encourage and support private investors.

By Royal decree in 2009, the Royal Commission has assumed development of Ras Al-Khair into a referent industrial city, offering a myriad of supporting advantages for Ras Al-Khair Special Economic Zone investors.

2,000 ha (20km2) is the total area of Ras Al-Khair SEZ.
